Gay is a broadcaster, writer and PR consultant. She has worked in the U.K and in the United States. She claims (having lived over ten years in the U.S.) to be bilingual - i.e. speaks both New Zealand English and American English - fluently! Gay also speaks a little French and German and loves trying it out on her guests.
She also loves sharing her country and her knowledge of the West Coast and Buller regions.
A note from Gay: The beautiful German Shepherd with me on the beach is called Frieda. Sadly Frieda died in April of 09 after 13 years of blissful buddy-ness. She was an incredible dog, to the point that I couldn't somehow have another shepherd. So meet my new four-legged friend - a little shorter, and a wee sheltie with the heart of a lion. Here he is in a recent snap with some dear friends/guests at the b&b.
